Watch Dogs confirmed for 2013 launch

Watch Dogs will release next year, the game's official Twitter has said.

Pushed for a date by a user, the Watch Dogs Twitter said: "The game will be released in 2013 and will be on released on PC and consoles."

The tweet, as you'll see, isn't specific on console platforms, fueling even more speculation the game will be a next-gen game.

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot has already confirmed, though, it'll launch on PS3 and 360. On a next-gen release, he took a "we'll see" stance.

Watch Dogs was announced as arguably the biggest surprise of a show and is all but likely to come out in best of E3 lists from now until forever.
