David Jaffe has said he’s to talk to Sony today regarding reports of Twisted Metal being onplayable online for regions in the SCEE territory.

It comes as a massive five-page thread on the SCEA forums appeared over the weekend that consisted mainly of European players unable to play the game in the EMEA regions.

When asked on the situation on Twitter, director Jaffe said he would talk to Sony regarding it today, but insisted he no idea what was the cause behind the problem.

“I am hearing this and [am] sorry about it. I will know what is up on Monday,” he said.

“No clue why SCEE territories are locked out. I’m sorry.”
