Quick Quotes – The Legend of Zelda to stick with motion controls

“I honestly think we cannot go back to button controls now, so I think that these controls will be used in future Zelda titles, too.”

– The Legend of Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma discussing Skyward Sword’s MotionPlus controls with ONM. Thanks, CVG.

If that’s the case, then I hope Nintendo would make the Wii Remote more dynamic and precise this time around. Chances are that they will keep the Wii Remote Plus technology untouched for the Wii U.

Plus, Nintendo pretty much contradicted themselves with this statement seeing that the HD Zelda for Wii U uses the traditional button layout. Does this mean there’s an option to have SS controls?

Uh no that was a tech Demo and the controller actually didn’t control Link at all. The controller just had control on the lighting in the environment and using it for the map and inventory.
