@ 41: I too am most disappointed to hear that the SP campaign isn’t up to the standard of Halo:CE’s, especially as I have no interest in online MP. Still, it *has* to be better than Halo 3′s, right? I suppose this is the true result of Alex Seropian leaving the studio – he was the guy that gave the Halo mythos real substance and since his departure in 2002 Bungie has become less and less creative/innovative. It’s like post-Seropian Bungie bears no relation to the studio that crafted ‘Pathways into Darkness’, ‘Myth’ and ‘Marathon’.

Still… I’ll reserve judgement until I actually play the darn thing.

@ 84: Bullshit. The Halo mythos are incredibly well drawn out, even if they are poorly revealed in-game. Even so, you’re merely stating your opinion – it’s not empirical fact that one Sci-Fi story is better or worse than another, it’s just which one you personally like more,. So, for all your bawling, al you’re ever really saying is BUT I DON’T LIKE IT, WAAAAH. While I hope your negative opinions bring your happiness I would be grateful if you could refrain from spouting them at every available opportunity. It makes you come across like an odious troll.

Same applies to Halo vs Unreal – it’s only better/worse or similar/different in YOUR OPINION, not fact. You come across like you’re trying to teach a school class – sit back down and wind your neck in, your opinions are no more (or less) valuable than anyone else here and, quite frankly I don’t think I’m alone in saying I’m sick of seeing you spout them over and over and over all the bloody time. It’s boring – we know what you think, change the fucking record. It comes across like you don’t *want* us to have fun playing a game we actually enjoy. You don’t like it? Fine. Just stop fucking preaching!

Lastly: Halo’s MO is NOT based on Unreal Tournament. It’s based on Marathon Infinity. This *is* FACT. Do some fucking research.

This game deserves a perfect 10 imo. Hated halo 1,2,3 but this one is something good.

I mean the reviews that are still coming in are pretty top notch. Looking at post 110 111.

I have it pre ordered as there is 800 ms points for it if you pre order.

Not sure where to start first really.
Firefight? Co-Op? Multi? Campaign?
Ah well wtf I will probably try them all. :)
