French XBLA grab shows Jet Set Radio
A French gamer’s shown a listing from Jet Set Radio on XBLA, as reported by Destructoid.
The screen lists the cel-shaded rollerblading game as having a demo, but nothing else.
Dreamcast XBLA games have been persistently rumoured for years, again being mooted last week as Sega laid off over 70 staff and refocused its US operations on downloadable content.
The original JSR was announced in 1999 and released in 2000. It was one of the first cel-shaded console games and was a “cool” kid favourite.
This could be a proper load of bollocks, obviously. We’ll ask Sega later this morning.

awesome game, but, Jet set radio future which came out on the xbox was ten times better, it was more of a redo/update then a sequel, just seems stupid that we get this version.
same with outrun, which had a second version with double the tracks which we never got
they keep releasing these striped bare original titles
If they showed Jet set radio some love it could honestly be one of the best games on the Xbox…but they wont

Jet Set Radio Future was rubbish – it felt like the original after you had opened everything up and finished it all, i.e. empty and useless.

PSO would be awesome. But seeing as they’d have to run servers for online play i really doubt it’ll happen.

Hum nobody astonished by the presence of the full Sonic 4 episode 1 game on this xbox? Maybe I missed something but I can’t get the game on the market so either there’s a problem on the XBLA market or this pic is a fake…

I checked on the french marketplace (since I am french) and there’s nothing about a Jet Set Radio demo or a Sonic 4 episode 1 game whatsoever so unless this guy has access to a special marketplace only available in his alternate universe, this pic has to be a fake. Or he got those things elsewhere but in this case, I’d really wanna know where

It’s a debug, innit.
Anyone who has a debug console can get stuff from the latest builds to what not via a special Marketplace. That’s where the pic’s come from.
And before you ask, debugs are only available to journos. Nerr.
