Assassin’s Creed 2 glitch traps players in the Hideout

Friday, 4th December 2009 20:21 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

Apparently, some Assassins Creed 2 players are reporting a glitch that traps the player in the Hideout with no way out of it.

The error occurs when players save and shut the console down after finishing Chapter 11. Upon restarting,  the only way to escape the Hideout is to begin the game anew.

CVG has contacted Ubisoft, and until a response is issued, the site recommends you not “quit out of the game”.

Just go play something else until a fix or workaround is announced, we reckon.

I beat it once, got the plat and thats that. The game is good but nothing in it makes me want to go back and replay it.
I didnt come across any bugs either.

Lol I couldn’t move away from it on my first play through. So I wouldn’t know, since I never turned off my console.

Yep Yoshi; when i got to that tower i thought the game had glitched up, i kept restarting the level and killing myself because it looked like something was stoping you from climbing onto that wooden bar. And the fact that the lamp hanging off it kept bugging up only added to it.

As it turns out its just hard to do.
