LittleBigPlanet teaser shows what could be ICO [Update]

A picture of a LittleBigPlanet teaser has gone up on the net.

Sure looks like Ico himself, what with the horned one running away from a castle with a gal that appears to be Yorda.

We have contacted Media Molecule for comment.

Hopefully the folks there will get back with us soon.

Update – Looks like it’s real. In response to a tweet as to whether or not the art was made by Media Molecule, the developer’s replied, “why yes, yes it is.”

I played an ICO level someone made on LBP once, it was Japanese and mind blowing, one of the best i’ve seen.

It is made by them. My twitter account was good for something:

Obviously only confirms that the artwork is real.

I read there were talks a while ago, and Media Molecule saw Ueda’s game, and Ueda was very into LBP.

I wonder if we’ll get a Fumito Ueda LBP set… I might have to buy the game then.

Seriously, WTF?

Playing crappy facsimiles of good games on a weak as piss platformer where every character is a glorified sock puppet.

Why not…… just play the original?
