Yakuza 3 gets in-game footage from Tokyo

Gamersyde’s posted the first moving look at Yakuza 3, from the first day of TGS. You can play darts, hit golf balls and kiss the priddy ladeez, from the look of this.

Wow, they really went to town on the mini-games this time around!

The city looks wonderful, and the best thing in the entire video is probably the thing that nobody noticed – the fights occur exactly where you’re standing. No loading or anything, the bads run in, the crowd gathers round, you fight where you’re standing. Smashing!

My only concern is that Kazuma seems a little expressionless, as if his face (and his eyes especially) need a bit more work on their animation. And one little gripe – the same location again? I’d have really loved them to have gone for a completely new set of locations this time.

No I noticed.

But I didn’t like how they gathered round before it strated fighting, without any like, preparign animations.

Shaking out their wrists or something, would ahve have helped it.

Yes please, that looks all sorts of wonderful, but yeah, they’ve certainly pushed the mini game thing this time.
