Three UK mobile carriers lined up for April Xperia Play launch

UK mobile providers have been quick to latch onto yesterday's hem-hem "officially" revealed Xperia Play, with O2, Vodafone, Orange and T-Mobile all confirming they'll offer the Android handset this year. A carrier for Canada has been rumored as well.

T-Mobile and Orange (Everything Everywhere) are said to be ready to launch the handset in the UK in April, according to Pocket-lint.

Engadget reports that O2 tweeted the carrier's support of the Play.

Meanwhile, Pocket-lint again cites an inside source on Vodafone's inclusion.

Over in Canada, the phone will be exclusive to Rogers - although that's only a rumor at present (thanks, Joystiq).
The Xperia Play will debut in Barcelona this week, at the Mobile World Congress.

Thanks, Eurogamer.
