Crytek's Ryse announced, is first-person Kinect sword title

Crytek's announced the title formerly known as Codename Kingdoms, which is now Ryse. It's a first-person hack-and-slash using Kinect.

The game is entirely gesture-controlled, including kicking and stabbing, as well as shield-blocking.

The trailer showed a dog approaching dead bodies across the streets of Rome, as well as plenty of wreckage across the city. Watch it for yourself below courtesy of GameTrailers.
