Crysis 3 pre-orders get original Crysis for free

Electronic Arts has announced that those who pre-order Crysis 3 will receive a digital download of the original entry in the series for free.

Pre-ordering players will receive a code which can be used to download the 2007 shooter through the PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, or Origin, depending on your platform of choice.

The press release notes that the offer will be "available while supplies last at participating retailers," but doesn't specifically mention who those participating retailers are. We can probably guess who they'll be by now, though.

Those who order early will also get their copy of Crysis 3 upgraded to the Hunter Edition, which gives players the Predator bow weapon and the Hunter Nanosuit module.

Crysis 3 is out February 2013 for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
