Assassin's Creed: Origins November patch adds HDR support, first Trial of the Gods, more

Ubisoft has detailed some of the new content coming to Assassin's Creed: Origins in November.

This month, Assassin's Creed: Origins will receive its first post-launch patch. Ubisoft had already promised extensive post-launch support in both paid and free content, and today we get to find out a few more specifics about the November drop.

The patch, which does not yet have a release date, will unlock Xbox One X enhancements, and add HDR support on "all supported platforms." Alongside the tech upgrade, the patch will include a host of fixes and stability improvements.

Trials of the Gods, the extra mode that lets you fight iconic ancient Egyptian gods, will have its first release this month. Anubis will be available beginning November 7. If you manage to defeat it, you'll be rewarded with legendary loot.

Speaking of loot, the in-game store will be updated with a couple of new packs. Packs include new costumes, mounts, and weapons. They can be purchased through the store using the real-world currency Helix Credits, but individual items within them will also be found in the Heka chests in the game.

More details about the first Trials of the Gods fight, and the rest of the patch notes, will be revealed closer to launch.
