Alpha Protocol DRM software explained

alphaprotocol

Dear Ubisoft: this is probably how you do DRM - without the compulsory need of internet.

In a thread on its forums, Sega's explained how the DRM software works for Alpha Protocol. As previously announced, it uses Uniloc DRM.

The main important thing is that you don't need a 'net connection to play the game, although one is needed to activate it.

The publisher's also confirmed you can install the Obsidian RPG on up to five PCs, with deactivation on any PC you have it activated on at any time.

It later adds it aims to be rid of the DRM software in the game at least two years after its release.

Alpha Protocol releases at the end of this month for PS3, 360 and PC in Europe. It releases on June 1 in the US.

Thanks, Big Download.
