Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is out in March on PC, upcoming betas dated

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 will be released sooner than we thought, at least on PC.

Developer Fatshark has announced that Warhammer: Vermintide 2, the co-op action shooter/melee hybrid, will be released March 8 on PC. The game is in development for PS4, and Xbox One, but a console release date has yet to be announced.

Before March rolls around, however, players will have two opportunities to get their hands on Vermintide 2. The first is during the closed beta, which takes place on February 22.

Some of those who signed up for the beta will get an invite. Progress in this beta won't carry over to the live version. If you pre-order Vermintide 2, you'll gain access to the pre-order beta, which is scheduled to begin February 28.

Fatshark confirmed that progress made during the pre-order beta will carry over to the real thing, save for unintended technical problems. The developer also released a fresh gameplay video that shows a bit of action from the perspective of one class, fighting against both Skaven, and Chaos.

As for PC, Vermintide 2 is available to pre-order through Steam with a 10% discount, which also gets you into the February 28 beta.
