Gran Turismo Sport is finally launching this October

Gran Turismo Sport finally has a solid, actual release date.

After years of development work and numerous delays, Sony has confirmed that the game is due for release October 17. The remaining months between now and release will be used to polish the game.

More details about GT Sport's campaign mode, customisation tools, and new tracks and cars will be shared in the lead-up to launch. Developer Polyphony Digital also detailed the game's limited and digital deluxe editions.

Here's what each of them includes:

Limited Edition $70

  • GT Sport Starter Pack (eight Cars)
  • $1M in-game credit
  • Livery sticker pack
  • 30 GT Sport themed avatars
  • Chrome racing helmet (for driver profile)
  • Limited Steel Book & packaging

Gran Turismo Sport is out October 17 in North America, October 18 in Europe on PS4.
