Wrath of the Machine monitors unlock a secret raid chest in Destiny: Rise of Iron, but nobody's opened it yet
Monitors are the latest mystery to crop up in Destiny: Rise of Iron's new raid, Wrath of the Machine.
Wrath of the Machine has been available to Destiny: Rise of Iron players for a few days, and many of its secrets have been harvested. The monitors, though - the monitors are still giving us all trouble.
Throughtout Wrath of the Machine players can encounter monitors displaying static; you can even hear it in quiet moments. It's possible to interact with the monitors, which makes them show the SIVA symbol and the number "7777".
Mysterious, yes? But it wasn't long before Destiny: Rise of Iron players released the monitors are tied to a treasure room right at the end of the Wrath of the Machine raid, which is blocked off by deadly lasers. Every time a monitor is activated, one of the lasers deactivates.
There are five lasers so we expect that there are five monitors to find. In the video above Arekkz guides you to the four that have been found so far, but at time of writing nobody had managed to find all five and enter the laser treasure room.
As you'll hear in the video, it's possible there's some other mechanic that will open the final laser - something to do with the light grid in the server farm, or some sort of timed mechanic.
Howevere, in the hours since this video was posted, Redditor 207god may have found the fifth monitor. Players are now trying to work out how to get in and we won't be surprised if we have to update with more details soon.
So what's in the secret Wrath of the Machine chest? Nobody knows, but we're hoping it's more than just a little bit of extra loot.
