Pac-Man Championship Edition is getting a sequel, and it’s coming this year.
Namco has announced that a sequel to Pac-Man Championship Edition is currently in development, aiming for a September release on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
The digital-only game is being worked on by Namco’s studios in Tokyo, and features a 3D art style, the ability to bump ghosts, and big boss fights.
Chain Eating has been expanded, too, with up to four ghost trains. A number of “dynamic” mazes are also included. Score Attack returns, alongside the new Adventure Mode.
