Battlefield: Hardline dev is aiming to hit 1080p/60FPS on Xbox One

Battlefield: Hardline developer Visceral Games is hoping to get the Xbox One version to run at 1080P and 60 frames-per-second, similar to how the PlayStation 4 version will run.

Speaking to GamingBolt, creative director Ian Milham said, "If you look at the games that Visceral Games has made before, we have always strive[ed] for total parity between our platforms.

"Of course, the PC version, it will do whatever your PC can handle, and the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions will obviously not be as high-res as compared to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions. But those two [PS4 and Xbox One] should be locked in together."

Battlefield Hardline is out October 24 on PC, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and Xbox One. The game is currently in closed beta on PS4 and PC, with the promise of another beta for Xbox formats later this year.
