Gamespot was in attendance, and kindly uploaded a video of the presentation which kicked off the event proper.
MineCon 2011 marked the official release of the "finished" Minecraft, which has been in beta until this weekend, despite selling over 4 million copies. Mojang intends to continue working on the survival-building adventure, though.
