George Romero has never heard of Dead Rising

According to this Kotaku piece, zombie god George Romero has never heard of Capcom game Dead Rising. A fan got him to sign a copy of the title at a US event this week, where he admitted the property was news to him.
All a little odd, considering MKR Group, the company that owns the rights to Romero's undead classic Dawn of the Dead, is currently locked in a legal battle with Capcom over the game, claiming it's essentially an interactive interpretation of the film.
Just goes to show.
