APB: Reloaded hits 3m registered users, ‘all-new APB experience’ incoming
APB: Reloaded, the F2P MMO from GamersFirst and Reloaded Productions has hit over 3 million registered users, VG247 understands. The game was conceived as an enhanced version of Realtime World’s troubled title, which saw the studio collapse back in September 2010. An ‘all-new APB experience’ has also been teased by the publisher.

K2 Network and APB Reloaded publisher merge into Reloaded Games
K2 Network and Reloaded, which publishes the MMO APB Reloaded, have merged. The company will henceforth be known as Reloaded Games, while incorporating the GamersFirst publishing label. K2 Network CEO Bjorn Book-Larsson will now be CEO of Reloaded Games, while Frank Cartwright will act as COO, and Rahul Sandil will act as CMO. Valentine Massacre Event nets you punky-pink guns in APB
GamersFirst has announced that for a limited time, it will be hosting a Valentine’s Day massacre event in APB Reloaded. Those who log into the game will be sent Valentine-inspired weapons with “an exciting new modification,” with pink and white decor complete with hearts. Killing in-game folks with these special weapons will advance two new roles and and provide new theme music, art, and heart-shaped sunglasses. Nifty. It all starts today and runs through February 20. APB: Reloaded hits US retail tomorrow
Gamersfirst’s free-to-play revamp of Realtime Worlds’ MMO, APB: Reloaded, arrives at retail on December 9 in the US. Although the game is free-to-play, the $29.99 boxed version offers 30 days of Premium subscription, 500 credits for use in the game’s store, a faction-specific sports car and a secondary weapon. The free digital version released on Steam yesterday.

APB Reloaded launches on Steam
After a year away following the collapse of RealTime Worlds, APB’s returned online as F2P APB Reloaded. The MMO, available now on Steam, will run on a monetary items basis. If you start playing the game before December 19, you’ll get access to a Premium Upgrade Pack for ten days. There’s more on the pack here, where you’ll also get the game.

APB Reloaded releases at retail later this year
APB Reloadedwill be released in the US later this year in the US by IGS Software. IGS CEO Paul Lombardi said the game will retail for $29.99, comes with $45 worth of virtual goodies, and will be free-to-play upon install. Thanks, Gamespot.
