Watch as Miyamoto eats a hamburger and plays Super Mario Run

Food or videogames, you say? Why not both?!

Just last week Mr. Miyamoto took to the stage at Apple's press event to unveil Super Mario Run: a stage-based auto runner that sees you guiding Mario through a variety of New Super Mario Bros style levels with a tap of the touch screen.

At the event, Miyamoto highlighted the ability to play the game with just one hand. This week? He's putting his money - and his burger - where his mouth is, showcasing the multitude of everyday activities you can perform while playing Super Mario Run.

From lifting weights to chowing down on a burger, as is the case with most things Nintendo it's an endearing if goofy look at design philosophy behind Super Mario Run.

Alongside the video, GamesBeat is also reporting that Nintendo has just launched the Super Mario Run Stickers pack for iMessage, which should help tide you over until we can play the game ourselves.

Super Mario Run is set to launch on iOS devices in the Holiday 2016 season, with an Android release at a later date. While burgers should be readily available at any quality, local takeaways or bakery. Which is probably where I'm headed right about now. Thanks, Miyamoto.
