Until Dawn's most graphic scenes are censored in Japan

Japan is no stranger to censoring games' most graphic moments, and Until Dawn is the latest victim.

Japan is at it again, censoring violent scenes in modern games. Until Dawn is the most recent release to suffer but it's far from being alone.

The reasons are different for each game, but everything can be boiled down to violence and sex. Previous examples of this include The Order: 1886, The Evil Within, and even Metal Gear Solid.

Spoilers below this mark.

YouTube channel Censored Gaming discovered the alteration and made a video comparing the scenes from the western and Japanese releases.

Essentially, the screen cuts to black and back to the action a few times to hide the gruesome stuff.
