Free Incinerate ‘N Detonate content pack coming soon to Killing Floor 2

New content is coming to Early Access title Killing Floor 2.

During E3 2015 last week, Tripwire Interactive announced future updates for the sci-fi horror shooter, including the free Incinerate ‘N Detonate content pack which will add 50% more content to game.

The content will include two new maps, the perks Firebug and Demolitions, as well as new features and feature improvements.

"Keep in mind that many of these items are still very much in development and are a work in progress," said Tripwire. "We will start with the one many had guessed based on previous coverage."

These items are:

Firebug

    - BBQer extraordinaire, lover of everything that burns. Known tools of the trade:
  • Tier 1 - Caulk n’ Burn: Get close, get personal, burn its face off
  • Tier 2 - Trench Gun: Incendiary rounds make for a fiery start (and end) to most zeds
  • Tier 3 - Flamethrower: The classic burn baby burn
  • Grenade - Molotov : Area denial and bon party starter
  • Molotov1

Demolitions - If overwhelming firepower isn’t working, you aren’t using enough. Known tools of the trade:

  • Tier 2 - C4
  • C4 Demo Render
  • Tier 4 - RPG 7

More information on the content pack will be made in the near future, and soon, Nvidia's PhysX Flex technology will be integrated into the game.

Tripwire said in the press release the tech will allow for more "hyper-realistic physics effects, advanced fluidity and interaction between all of the moving parts." This includes intestines and organs.

The developer also released an E3 video which featuring the PhysX Flex tech alongside footage of user-made maps which were hand-selected from the modding community. Each was created using the SDK tools.

Killing Floor 2 is available through Steam Early Access for PCand a SteamOS version is planned for release at a later date. All progress made during the Early Access period will be carried over to the full game upon release.
