Back when Elite: Dangerous launched, developer Frontier announced a competition that would award players to first reach Elite rank in trading, exploration, or combat, a prize of £1,000 each. The grand prize - £10,000 - was for whoever reaches the Triple Elite rank, meaning they would be the first to reach the Elite rank in all three activities.

The winner of the grand prize is a player named Onepercent. He visited 10,342 unique star systems, traded 835,410 tonnes of goods, killed 9,032, travelled 180,688 light years, all during 1,029 hours.

Commander Lordkee won the trade prize. He traded 834,353 metric tonnes of goods, with 302 tonnes on the black market. Commander Tequila went home with the exploration prize, travelling more than 190,000 light years and visiting 7,697 unique star systems. As for combat, Fromtonrouge was the winner with 8,567 kills.
