Alien: Isolation developer working on another triple-A console game

Alien: Isolation developer Creative Assembly may be beavering away at multiple Total War games, but it has something else in the works, too.

Naturally our thoughts turned to Alien: Isolation 2 when we heard the Creative Assembly is recruiting for another big game.

According to a new recruiting ad, the Creative Assembly has "another multi-platform AAA blockbuster" on the go.

The game will have "a range of online features", hence the need for an online and multiplayer programmer, and will apparently release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

It's possible this is another Total War game, especially as the team is teasing something new in that franchise.

It could also be something entirely new, of course. Although it has stuck to pure strategy for many years now, the Creative Assembly did a bang-up job of first-person horror with Alien: Isolation, so we're excited to see whatever it does next, whether it falls in its usual wheelhouse or not.

Given this talk of multiplayer, I'd almost be happier to see Isolation left as a stand-alone release, really.

Thanks, VideoGamer.
