Looks like a new David Jaffe action game will be revealed next month

God of War and Twisted Metal creator David Jaffe seems primed to reveal his new project, which appears to have been signed by Sony.

Sony has released a new teaser video for its upcoming event, PlayStation Experience, which is more than it first appears. Check it out:

Did you catch it? At about 18 seconds, a URL is very briefly shown on screen. It points to a teaser page on the website for The Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency, Jaffe's new studio.

The teaser page is empty except for this video, featuring the elfin features of Jaffe himself:

Gematsu turned up the Bartlet Jones LinkedIn page, which mentions a new action IP and employs a wealth of veteran talent from SCE America studios.

Anyway, our conclusion from this whole mysterious gobbledegook is that Jaffe's new game will be revealed or perhaps just further teased at PlayStation Experience in Las Vegas next month, so stay tuned.

Confused by all the mystery? Well, some context: Jaffe revealed his new studio back in September 2013, announcing it as a collaboration between himself and paranormal investigator Bartlet Jones, whom Jaffe had accompanied on ghost hunting trips.

This was well back before the excellent P.T. Silent Hills reveal, but after the abject confusion about Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain. The games industry has always been keen on AR games and puzzles to drive up hype for game releases and announces - remember I Love Bees for Halo, or The Secret World's amazing chains of puzzles and secrets?
