The first episode in a series of developer diaries for Lords of the Fallen is out. In it, developer Deck 13 walks us through some of the main design goals and philosophies that went into the game.

The video takes a look at how the developers approached the mechanics of Lords of the Fallen. Aiming to make them challenging not frustrating. Yesterday Deck 13 released a video addressing some of the criticisms levied against the game in some previews.

Lords of the Fallen is out October 28 in North America, October 31 in the UK for PC, PlayStation 3 an Xbox One.
