Borderlands 2: new DLC in development, is highest-selling 2K game ever

Tuesday, 4th February 2014 08:36 GMT By Dave Cook

Borderlands 2 got a lot of love during Take-Two’s financial report last night, along with the confirmation that more DLC is on the way,

It was the same report that confirmed GTA 5 has shipped 35.2 million copies to date. That’s some-what insane.

Borderlands 2 has shipped 8.5 million units since it launched in fall, 2012, making it 2K Games’ highest-selling release.

To add to this milestone, Take-Two confirmed that more Borderlands 2 content is on the way. It’s unclear exactly what this entails, but we’re sure the fans will appreciate the gesture.

What do you think?

It’s time for the guys at Gearbox to move on to Borderlands 3, too many games are coming out that are new and exciting. While I loved Borderlands 2, I don’t expect to be playing alot more of the game anytime soon. I know they still had head hunter packs to release so i imagine thats all it is.
