Dragon Age: Inquisition off-screen video shows 30 minutes of next-gen footage

Dragon Age: Inquisition was shown during the Digiexpo event in Finland, and someone filmed the 30-minute session. It’s off-screen footage, so it’s not the best in the world, but it still gives you an idea of how the game looks. As CVG notes, it’s the same footage which was shown during PAX 2013. Dragon Age: Inquisition will release on PC and next-gen systems in autumn 2014.

Shown with an Xbox Controller. Looks good either way!

Eh, I don’t know, it looks kinda boring in all honesty. Definitely seems more like DA2 than DA:O, time will tell though, it’s early days and only a short section.

The look is insanely sweet. I don’t care about cartoonish criticisms, the game was never uber realistic in visual terms.

Cartoonish: Old male gamers who don’t like colour in their video games.

Personally I think this absolutely bloody gorgeous. They’ve toned down the pointless excesses of the second one, but almost made the combat more directly engaging. Good to see overhead pause and go gameplay is once again an option if you want it, something that was sorely lacking from the last game.

Was a bit concern how actiony it looked, but after seeing the strategic moves, i’m alot more reassured.

I love both DA-O and DA2 (For different reasons)

This looks like it is hitting the sweet spot between them AND upping the stakes with massive explorable areas.

The little details – like getting mired in the mud – are getting me excited now, can’t wait to see the other playable races in action – especially the Qunari! Female Sera’bhas? Yup, I’ll be doing that!
