Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic turns ten

Tuesday, 16th July 2013 06:06 GMT By Brenna Hillier

BioWare is celebrating the tenth anniversary of seminal Xbox RPG Star Wars: Knight of the Old Republic. Head on over to the BioWare Blog to read a number of posts from team members who worked on the 2003 release, and to score a set of variant wallpapers. KOTOR, as it is fondly known, spawned an Obsidian-developed sequel and MMORPG The Old Republic. You can still pick it up on iPad, Mac and PC if you feel nostalgic.

Wow, has it really been that long? Starting to feel old now when I look back. Awesome game and been playing my way through KOTOR 2 again recently. This really needs another single player sequel!

KOTOR1 was better than 2 IMO.

Still such a great game… currently playing it on my iPad and loving it. Apart from a the occasional dodgy control issue it runs brilliantly.

One of the best games I’ve ever played.

Genuinely brilliant RPG, and one of the best on console to this day. I still prefer it to Mass Effect.
