Call of Duty devs assembling focus group to ‘shape future’ of the series

Call of Duty: Elite members have been invited to register their application to become part of a focus group that will, “help improve and shape the future of Call of Duty.”

There’s no confirmation on when the focus test will take place, but it is being held in Los Angeles. Treyarch is based in the Santa Monica, Infinity Ward are located in Encino and Sledgehammer Games are situated in Foster City, which are all in California.

So it’s unclear which Call of Duty game is being polled, but the Reddit poster who first revealed the image later updated his thread there, saying, “It seemed to me that it was more so for elite than it was ghost. Either way I’m pretty excited. I’ve filled many selective beta surveys. This didn’t give off that vibe.”

Other Reddit users have suggested that he poll will take place on either May 20 or May 21. We’ll keep our eyes peeled for more information.

Thanks MP1st.

If they bring in Elite members, which mean the hardcore players, won’t they just provide information on the MP, and not so much feedback on SP.

Good idea, but I feel that the MP isn’t the problem with CoD, it’s the SP, while it is action packed and fun, lacks a lot of substance and depth. I hope good things come out of this focus group, I like the COD series.

Unless it’s for feedback on the Elite service, like that guy said on Reddit, then surely it’s slightly biased is they’re asking Elite users (who obviously like the game if they bought Elite) on the game itself.
