Resident Evil: Revelations demo heading west soon

Resident Evil: Revelations developer Capcom has confirmed that a demo of its spruced up horror-shooter is heading to the west soon.

In a statement sent to VG247 this morning, Capcom confirmed that he demo will hit Xbox Live, PSN and the Wii U eShop soon, but couldn’t offer exact dates.

However, the developer did say that he demo will see players controlling Jill Valentine as she infiltrates the Queen Zenobia cruise ship in search of Chris Redfield.

Resident Evil: Revelations releases on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U and PC in North America on May 21 and across Europe on May 24.

    Horror fans will soon be able to get a taste of Resident Evil Revelations with the upcoming release of a downloadable demo for Xbox LIVE, PSN, Nintendo eShop and Steam. Exact release dates to be confirmed shortly.

    Acting on orders from the BSAA director, the demo will see players infiltrating the cruise ship ‘Queen Zenobia’ as Jill Valentine and attempt to rescue missing fellow BSAA members Chris Redfield and Jessica Sherawat whose last known location pinpointed them onboard.

    Also available at 16.00 BST / 17.00 CET today will be the first in a weekly series of Developer Diaries featuring interviews with the team behind Resident Evil Revelations. Today’s video takes a look at the heritage and horror of Resident Evil.

    Gamers will be able to experience the full game when Resident Evil Revelations releases on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U and PC in North America on May 21 and across Europe on May 24.

    Looking forward to it. Also interested in seeing what the control scheme is for this game, as they do change the controls a bit in every RE title since RE4.
