The Walking Dead season two targeting northern autumn 2014

Wednesday, 6th March 2013 22:49 GMT By Brenna Hillier

TellTale Games doesn’t expect the second season of its award-winning The Walking Dead adventure to drop until late 2014.

“We’re aiming for fall next year,” TellTale CEO Dan Connors told Eurogamer at the BAFTA Awards yesterday, where the episodic title took two gongs.

It’s the first time TellTale has put a tentative dating on the second season, although it had warned that it was “a way off”. To help fans stay patient, writer Gary Whitta recently revealed that there would be some sort of inter-season content.

“He’s been sacked. We threw him into the zombie pit,” Connors joked.

“We’ll probably have something to announce fairly soon about what we’re going to do. It’ll be different.”

Thanks, Kotaku.
