Borderlands 2: new character & DLC being worked on now

Borderlands 2 will get new character DLC and a level cap raise soon, according to Gearbox Software head Randy Pitchford.

OXM has collated some of Pitchford’s tweets to eager fans on the matter.

When asked about a sixth character, Pitchford replied:

When asked about a potential level cap raise, Pitchford added, “News as soon as we can. Sorry I can’t offer more yet – I get skewered when things change in development, whatever the reason.”

When pressed one more time about the level cap, Pitchford re-iterated:

What would you like to see from a new Borderlands 2 character?

Meanwhile, it has been suggested that Gearbox made Aliens: Colonial Marines in just nine months. It’s not looking good.

Strange, I read on the Escapist not long ago that Gearbox claimed raising the level cap would break the game.

Gearbox Can’t Increase Borderlands 2′s Level Cap

Randy Pitchford is seriously full of shit these days…

Are they planning on fixing the massively unfair solo play? My money is on a capslocked NO.
