Frontier has released a new Elite: Dangerous video featuring live, work-in-progress gameplay between David Braben and other members of the development team. You’ll see a convoy under attack, and a mix of AI and the players controlling the ships. The teams has also updated the FAQ on the single-player portion of game, and new concept art has also been released. With 23 days to go, 15,492 backers have pledged £721,132 towards the Kickstarter’s £1,250,000 goal.

Do I have to go back to my old “Why does this kickstarter get a new post every week when others like Sui Generis get one post near the end?” routine, only to be fobbed off by some lame answer such as “our staff have their own personal favourites blah, blah, blah,” or “we have to judge (dictate) what our readers might be most interested in.”

And for the love of god, get a “Remember Login” checkbox in the top-right.
