Assassin's Creed 3 Wii U is "exactly the same game" as PS3 and Xbox 360 versions

Assassin's Creed 3 on Wii U will be "exactly the same game that's on the other platforms," says the game's creative director Alex Hutchinson.

According to the man himself, speaking with GI International, the the Wii U offering isn't "some radically diminished version, so that's exciting."

"It's always a challenge with new hardware, but it's also exciting," Hutchinson said. "I love the smell of new plastic, that day you get home with your new piece of kit. And it's been a long time since we've had a new piece of kit."

Controls, of course will be a bit different, what with the Game Pad being used to display the in-game map, or equip different weapons.

Assassin's Creed 3 is out on Wii U November 18 in the US and November 30 in Europe.
