Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance release day locked down

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance has been given a release date in both Europe and the US.

Konami confirmed at gamescom that the Raiden-centric action title will arrive on February 19 in the US and Europe, and February 21 for Japan.

Hideo Kojima tweeted an image of the Japanese release date to fans, and Konami Japan confirmed the dating via press release

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is coming to both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and is the product of Platinum Games, having been handed over and re-titled part way through development when KojiPro realised it had no clue what to do with its slicing sim.

The announcement was accompanied by a new trailer, which you can check out below; it repeated quite a lot of the E3 2012 material.
