Definitely no zombies for Modern Warfare 3

Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling has made it clear there won't be a zombie mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

"No zombies in MW3," the creative strategist said on Twitter.

"Although we do have a very different style of co-op in our new infinite wave based Spec Ops Survival mode."

Infinity Ward has not built a zombie mode into any of its Call of Duty titles, but the franchise's other main developer, Treyarch, introduced the co-op mode to World at War and Black Ops.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is due on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in November.
