New Dead Island screenshots show Sam B

Newly revealed screenshots from upcoming zombie shooter Dead Island have shown playable character, named Sam B.

The game’s official web site has a description of the character, a “one-hit wonder rapper” that happens to secure a gig at the Royal Palms Hotel to sign his track, “Who do You Voodoo?” at a party.

After the zombie apocalypse, though, Sam’s forced to trade in his vocal talents for some zombie head-busting.

Dead Island, from developer Techland and publisher Deep Silver, releases for the PC, PS3 and Xbox sometime this fall.
