Sledgehammer making “next” Call of Duty title

Activision upstart Sledgehammer will make the “next” Call of Duty title, a job listing has said.
The listing, looking for a community manager, offers “the chance to build and drive the studio community management effort forĀ Sledgehammer and the next Call of Duty game.”
When it was announced last year that Sledgehammer was working on a new Call of Duty title on the day of I-Ward gate, it was reported that the title was not the CoD game coming this year.
It’s been rumoured that the game is set to be in space.
Last year’s game, Black Ops, was made by Treyarch. Activision’s confirmed previously that Infinity Ward is also working on a new CoD game.

Sorry. I’ll be too busy having gameplay orgasms with Battlefield 3 to give a shit.

Yes, we all did that this morning, too. Then we realised the stuff about it being the “next” CoD game was new. So we did a story.

They’ll have to give it the same old COD gameplay (probably with jet packs this time) or else people wont like it.
Set the game in a crazy spacestation like Vanquish and i’ll bite

Infinity Ward.
Treyarch.
Sledgehammer.
Whatever…
COD needs an all new engine. Period. It’s already starting to feel too much like Guitar Hero..

@7, I’ll save you the wait.
Price and Soap get shot in the face in an unsatisfactory manner in a cutscene where you have no control over what happens.

I found on this website http://callofdutyghost.com/source-confirms-developers-for-call-of-duty-ghost-modern-warfare-3-30 that a source confirmed Sledgehammer Games were developing Call of Duty Ghost game and Activision would be working on Modern Warfare 3. I am looking more forward to MW3, and hopefully it does come out this year and they can do COD Ghost in 2012.
