Lag problems plaguing Black Ops PC
According to Kotaku, the PC edition of Call of Duty: Black Ops is suffering from a massive bout of lag.
The report says that in some moments of the game, it would “slow to a crawl in relatively quiet areas of the game, while in hectic stages full of explosions it may carry on just fine.”
This also applies to the single-player cut-scenes as well as multiplayer.
The issue may be down to just a memory leak in the CPU.
Players on PC Gamer and on Steam have been talking about the issue at hand.

it’s because Black Ops don’t recognize multicore CPU’s cores.
+ someone have problems with GPU…

It’s not the game, it’s the crappy server providers they chose. No doubt it’ll take a few hours to get stable and then smooth from there on

8: from what i know it does also effect the singleplayer. so it hardly can be the servers..

It made it instantly unplayable for me. I just went back to Modern Warfare 2; the graphics are better on that anyway

Yet ANOTHER pile of shit shooter on the PC. What are developers playing at? Standards have fallen, prices have gone up – is it any wonder PC gamers refuse to buy this shit?

@14 Because of consoles. PC has nothing to do with this.
Industry have changed because of the likes like Gadzooks or GIGAHURTZ. They enjoy it and this is a majority of people.
