SCEE confirms ICO, Shadow of the Colossus PS3 for Europe, more details tomorrow
SCEE’s just confirmed to VG247 it will be releasing the full HD remakes of Shadow of the Colossus and ICO in Europe.
The publisher says more details will be coming in SCEJ’s media briefing at Tokyo Game Show tomorrow morning BST.
“We can confirm that we will be releasing an HD version of ICO and Shadow of the Colossus,” a rep told us.
“More information will follow during the Media Briefing at TGS tomorrow ”
Following much rumour and speculation, the titles were confirmed for PS3 this morning in Famitsu.

@1 – Yeah, I’m pretty sure it’ll be singular. The Famitsu double-listing was probably a printing error of some kind.

PS GOW Collection in PAL territories still had pal censorship so region differences may still prevail

The bit where you had to time your jump perfectly to be able to reach a ledge. I tried and tried for days, but never managed to get it right so I gave up on Ico in the end.

Every play through I did of Ico I struggled with that piston… I fluked it the first time around and every time after that it would take me at least a half dozen attempts.
Still, amazing game and amazing news to have it finally confirmed of its release

It had BETTER BE the PAL version and none of you piston-hating wusses had better screw everyone out of it. I suppose you don’t want the lightsaber, co-op play, or Yorda translations either? Naw, you probably want the US cover as a loading screen
