Halo 3 Campaign kills hit 10 billion

Bungie’s confirmed the patently ridiculous fact that more than 10 billion Campaign kills have now been made in Halo 3.

The “milestone” has been reached in 565 days.

That means 17,500,000 Covenant have been killed daily since the game launched. That’s 730,000 killed per hour. Or 12,000 Covenant troops killed per minute.

Campaign Kills =/= Covenant kills though, since there are Flood too. Nonetheless 12,000 enemies killed per minute is an unbelievable amount, and to think it is still going up, surely everybody who has an Xbox will have played it to death eventually?
