Blizzard’s announced today that World of Warcraft has passed 11 million users globally.

“It’s been very rewarding to see gamers around the world continue to show such strong support for World of Warcraft,” said company boss Mike Morhaime.

“We remain fully committed to responding to that enthusiasm with a high-quality, constantly evolving game experience.”

The news comes ahead of the forthcoming expansion pack Wrath of the Lich King, due for release on November 13.
