Red Dead Redemption 2 has so far shipped 26.5 million, Borderlands 3 over 7 million

Take-Two has shared an update on Red Dead Redemption 2 and Borderlands 3, two of its biggest games.

In its earnings reveal for the second quarter of FY2020, Take-Two, the parent company for 2K Games and Rockstar Games, has revealed some updated sales figures for a few of its games.

Red Dead Redemption 2 continues to sell really well, having now shipped over 26.5 million units since its release last year. The publisher didn't comment on PC sales of the game, since it launched in the third quarter, but said they're off to a good start.

As for Borderlands 3, the game has so far shipped 7 million copies, having debuted with over 5 million at launch. Take-Two reiterated that 70% of sales were made digitally, a record for the company.

Overall, the success of Red Dead Online and Borderlands 3 both contributed to a big second quarter for Take-Two, well above expectations.
