Open beta for Rainbow Six Siege has been delayed

The open beta for Rainbow Six Siege which was slated to kick off today has been delayed.

According to a post on the Ubisoft forums for the game, issues with matchmaking times and disconnection on all platforms has forced the team to cancel the beta for the present.

"We’re postponing the open beta until a later time and keeping the game under closed beta status," states the post. "We apologize for the delay and can assure you this is our top priority. We will keep everyone updated regularly as we continue to deploy improvements."

The game is out on December 1, which is next Tuesday, so hopefully the issues can be resolved rather quickly.
