Join the USgamer Crew at PAX West for Two Panels!

Come listen to us talk about video games!

In less than two weeks, much of the gaming world will be converging on Seattle for PAX West. And we'll be there!

The USgamer team will be hosting two panels during PAX West. Here are the topics:

Mass Effect: USgamer Explores One of the Best RPGs Ever

When and Where: 5-6PM, Saturday, Hippogryph Theatre (in the Hyatt)

The original Mass Effect was a landmark achievement that solidified BioWare as the foremost RPG studio of the 2000s. Join the crew from USgamer's RPG podcast Axe of the Blood God and special guests Austin Walker (Waypoint) and Matthew Allen (Vidjagame Apocalypse) as they delve into the original game's history, recount its best moments, and explain why it deserves to be remembered as fondly as it better-known sequels.

The Rapidly Changing World of Games Journalism

When and Where: 5-6PM, Sunday, Cat Theatre

Games journalism has changed massively in just the past five years. Find out why as the team from USgamer explores the rapidly changing role of the gaming press. Join them as they talk about how they got into game journalism, share their war stories, and discuss what it takes to cover games at the breakneck pace of the internet.

Additionally, I will be joining the Kinda Funny crew and God of War director Cory Barlog to talk about The Quest for the Perfect Superman Game. That will be at 3pm in the Wyvern Theater. You can find the full schedule here.

With USgamer (and the rest of the Gamer Network) now part of the ReedPop family, we'll be working much more closely with the PAX shows going forward. Stay tuned for a giveaway, possible meetup times, and more. And see you in Seattle!
