Here's a nice comparison between PS3 and PS4 versions of Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen comes out next week on PS4, and Xbox One, and it's quite the graphical upgrade over the original release.

PC players may already know this, since the remaster was released in January, 2016, but this is the first Dragon's Dogma game on this generation of consoles. Sure, it's an old game, but it's one that doesn't really have an equal today.

Dark Arisen includes all DLC content, and comes with a fresh coat of paint. Capcom Japan released a new video that demonstrates how big the graphical upgrade is by comparing the PS3 with the PS4 version.

The video has a mix of footage from the cut-scenes, as well as regular gameplay, though we would have liked to see more action or combat, since that's where the originals struggled most. We'll have to wait for unofficial analysis for that.

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen is out October 3 on PS4, and Xbox One.
