Destiny Fans React With Mostly Excitement for All the Destiny 2 News
A lot of fans are sounding off on social media about today's Destiny 2 reveal.

Destiny 2 is finally here and fans tuned in from all over the world the see what's next for Bungie's ambitious RPG FPS. As the Twitch chats caught on fire with people live-commenting their reactions to all the Destiny 2 news today, we've compiled some of the things fans are saying online about the upcoming sequel.
From the moment Bungie appeared on stage in Los Angeles, the company made it clear that many of the additions Bungie made to Destiny 2 came from player feedback. Things like matchmaking for Raids, better social systems for co-op play, and the want of a stronger single-player story all stem from things fans have been asking for since the first Destiny released on consoles.
After the initial excitement, fans have begun parsing some of the more interesting details regarding Destiny 2. Changes like the uniform 4v4 set-up for the Crucible, Destiny's PvP arena, managed to spark an interesting discussion over on Reddit.
A post simply tited, "So, 4v4 Crucible now, huh?" has a little over 300 comments, with players mostly worried about the smaller scale battles becoming the standard across all Crucible modes. The primary concern being that players will miss the larger scale battle modes that were present in the first Destiny game, while others have defended the move as it will make team balancing much better in competitive matches.
One commenter named SoSolaris writes, "I'm not sure how to feel about it yet. 6v6 is my favorite crucible mode. And yeah, it was one of few activities where you could play with a full 6 man fireteam."
Other players were still wrapping their heads around the fact that Destiny 2 will be the first non-Blizzard game to be available through Battle.net. A surprise annoucement from Activision, Bungie, and Blizzard that was was was met with a mixed reaction online.
Additional PC news such as the fact that Destiny 2 will have 4K resolution and uncapped 60fps for PC, while only 30fps on consoles has sparked both excitedment from PC players, and some consternation among the console set.
All-in-all however, fan excitement seems to be running at a high pitch, with the Destiny 2 search on Twitter adding 100s of new tweets at a rapid clip. What were your thoughts on Bungie's big Destiny 2 reveal today?
